this is the day the Lord has made, i will rejoice and be glad in it. pslam 118:24

we are packed and ready to go...next stop atlanta airport...seoul korea...beijing... to the gold at the end of the rainbow emma lael...natalie & i will be blogging while in china.

I will pray for you and for your Emma while you are traveling. It feels like I was in China yesterday getting my Emma and at the same time it feels like it was forever ago. I wish you safe travels and good health.

make a difference

one day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking up and gently throwing it into the ocean. approaching the boy, he asked, "what are you doing?" the youth replied, "throwing starfish back into the sea. the surf is up and the tide is going out. if i don't throw them back, they'll die. "son," the man said, "don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? you can't make a difference!" after listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. then, smiling at the man, he said, "i made a difference for that one."

i LOVE this story....emma lael is one starfish that was saved....would you consider saving a child from being an orphan?
