Amy here...i spoke with andrea, kent and natalie today on skype...unfortunately for them, it was 2 in the morning and they were "up for the day"...they were so happy with how emma reacted when she first saw them...she was excited and very proud to show off her new family...in the morning (day 2) they will meet emma at 8 am and spend the rest of the day with her....emma will then fly with her travel companion to her home town to begin paperwork for her to officially be a sisler...to be continued...

make a difference

one day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking up and gently throwing it into the ocean. approaching the boy, he asked, "what are you doing?" the youth replied, "throwing starfish back into the sea. the surf is up and the tide is going out. if i don't throw them back, they'll die. "son," the man said, "don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? you can't make a difference!" after listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. then, smiling at the man, he said, "i made a difference for that one."

i LOVE this story....emma lael is one starfish that was saved....would you consider saving a child from being an orphan?
