breathing...walking...talking MEGAPHONE

ga ga aka garrett came home from college...this is a BIG deal...emmalael loves when ga ga comes home...she was playing X-box with ga ga...she would intently watch ga ga to see what he would do with his fingers on the controller than imitate what he was doing...little did she know her controller wasn't plugged into the game...i honestly don't think she would of cared.
yesterday garrett said to me "mom emmalael is a breaking, walking, talking MEGAPHONE" that is the best description of her yet...she is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY loud...she talks NONSTOP... megaphone fits her perfectly.

I love that Emma calls her Ge Ge, her 'ga ga' ...too cute! :)

I had to laugh at the title of this post... sounds all too much like Khloe! What did they teach them there?!?! LOL! Nope, I think we got the two loudest girls in the bunch!! ;)

make a difference

one day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking up and gently throwing it into the ocean. approaching the boy, he asked, "what are you doing?" the youth replied, "throwing starfish back into the sea. the surf is up and the tide is going out. if i don't throw them back, they'll die. "son," the man said, "don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? you can't make a difference!" after listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. then, smiling at the man, he said, "i made a difference for that one."

i LOVE this story....emma lael is one starfish that was saved....would you consider saving a child from being an orphan?
