bathtime fun

emma lael likes shampoo her own hair...i took this picture to show her what a good job she does shampooing her hair..when her picture is taken she immediately wants to see herself...ganlu her favorite person at new day took many photos of her...i remember when we were at new day when ganlu would take her picture she would show emma lael the picture she'd taken...emma lael has figured out after my picture is taken i can see it right away..she will rush over to see what the picture looks like immediately it is so funny.

Super cute! I have a picture of my daughter in the tub with bubbles on her head that is my absolute favorite...in fact, it's in a frame on the mantle! :)

make a difference

one day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking up and gently throwing it into the ocean. approaching the boy, he asked, "what are you doing?" the youth replied, "throwing starfish back into the sea. the surf is up and the tide is going out. if i don't throw them back, they'll die. "son," the man said, "don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? you can't make a difference!" after listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. then, smiling at the man, he said, "i made a difference for that one."

i LOVE this story....emma lael is one starfish that was saved....would you consider saving a child from being an orphan?
