A week of friends

this has been a very exciting week for emma lael...she's had 3 play dates...today we spent a couple hours with lilykate and eleanor...they were adopted from china when they were a bit over 1 year old...lilykate & eleanor's birthday is 3 days before emma lael...we will have a fun BIRTHDAY month this july...lilykate and eleanor are in emma laels pre-school class...as i watched the 3 play at the park today i was in awww of how God orchestrates things...His plan is always so much better than our plan could ever be.

make a difference

one day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking up and gently throwing it into the ocean. approaching the boy, he asked, "what are you doing?" the youth replied, "throwing starfish back into the sea. the surf is up and the tide is going out. if i don't throw them back, they'll die. "son," the man said, "don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? you can't make a difference!" after listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. then, smiling at the man, he said, "i made a difference for that one."

i LOVE this story....emma lael is one starfish that was saved....would you consider saving a child from being an orphan?
