it is hard to believe that one year ago today we boarded a plane to china at 12:01 a.m. on September 13, 2010 to meet our daughter emma lael li sisler...it is surreal to think about it all....i can still feel the excitement fueled by adrenaline that rushed through my body that day...i remember what i wore on the plane...what i ate that day....the smell of Beijing when we got off the plan...the L O N G plane flight very clearly...what i remember more than anything is how much i loved a little girl i had never met before...some find it very strange that someone can LOVE someone they have never met...the photos i've posted clearly show what L O V E and a F A M I L Y can do for a child...Thank You God for allowing us to be emma lael li parents...still pinching myself and asking "how did i get so lucky to be her mom?"
