strollers are being shipped

THANK YOU to those of you who contributed to the shipping cost of the strollers...they will be on there way to beijing next week...estimated arrival time 4-6 weeks.

PTL for His provision... I know how GREATLY appreciated those strollers will be ~ especially come spring time in Beijing when they are out and about on more field-trips and walks again. Thank you for being such a blessing to NewDay. What a wonderful way to give back!! <><

make a difference

one day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking up and gently throwing it into the ocean. approaching the boy, he asked, "what are you doing?" the youth replied, "throwing starfish back into the sea. the surf is up and the tide is going out. if i don't throw them back, they'll die. "son," the man said, "don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? you can't make a difference!" after listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. then, smiling at the man, he said, "i made a difference for that one."

i LOVE this story....emma lael is one starfish that was saved....would you consider saving a child from being an orphan?
