Hickory Horn Devil Catarpillar will become a Regal Moth

today while putting up a deer stand in our backyard kent found this regal moth caterpillar...it can get to be a large as a hotdog YIKES...it is beautiful and harmless the colors are amazing...if interested in seeing what it looks like as a moth google regal moth when they are full grown with wings spread it can cover the palm of a man's hand....large & beautiful.

MoSeS is growing

Happy "Sweet 16" Nattie

today nattie turned 16...my mom, emma lael and i took her cupcakes to school...yes, i know she is a sophomore in high school and normally that is "cool" for mom to bring cupcakes but with gramm her it was okay. natalie's best friends lynz and shelby made her a very neat gift....a piece of art with great memories between them...love those two girls...Happy Sweet 16 Natalie i lOVE MY GIRL!

emma lael continues to enjoy gymnastics she's getting to understand more and learning more each week in class...lala came to visit this week from AZ... emma lael wanted lala to go watch her at "nastics" she would look up to see if lala and mama were watching her every move...i give her the thumbs up when she is doing good....she's been known to be a bit silly during class ;)

one day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking up and gently throwing it into the ocean. approaching the boy, he asked, "what are you doing?" the youth replied, "throwing starfish back into the sea. the surf is up and the tide is going out. if i don't throw them back, they'll die. "son," the man said, "don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? you can't make a difference!" after listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. then, smiling at the man, he said, "i made a difference for that one."

i LOVE this story....emma lael is one starfish that was saved....would you consider saving a child from being an orphan?
